“Pigeon Town” was annexed to the City of New Orleans in 1874. Located in Uptown by the riverbend at the end of the St Charles streetcar line. Made of up of former slaves, Caribbean descent, Germans, Italians, French, and Buffalo soldiers. It always has been a working class community.

I moved to New Orleans in the fall of 2013. I considered myself lucky and love my neighborhood. Everyday I walk the streets of “Pigeon Town” with my dog Pepita (Aka Coco). Learning about and observing “P-Town”.
